How To Assemble Blank Snow Domes and Glitter Domes

Our blank keyrings are made to be assembled in seconds with no tools and no glue. The method depends on which style you have. Find your keyring below and follow the steps. Most orders take about ten seconds each once you have a rhythm going.

Before you start, check your insert size on the insert size chart. If you want the design showing on both sides, prepare two inserts per keyring.

Clear window keyrings

Covers P5 Access, IO02, Y1 Midi, A5 Tour, IP02, C1 Vito, IL02, IL05, ILC02, L4 Orca, IZ02, IX02, IA02, IR02, IS02, U1 and the Medium House keyring.

Print your design onto pre cut insert paper, or onto plain paper and cut it out with a hand held photo cutter.
Peel out the insert. For a double sided keyring, prepare two.
Separate the keyring body from the clear window. The window is the thinner clear piece that clicks into the recess.
Place the first insert face down into the recess, so it reads correctly through the acrylic.
For a double sided keyring, lay the second insert on top, back to back with the first.
Press the window over the recess until it clicks in all the way round.
To change the design later, ease the window out at one corner with a fingernail and reseat it.

Re-openable two-half keyrings

Covers the F1 Stein and G1 Luken. These have no separate window. The two halves open on the ring connector.

Prepare your inserts at the correct size. Two per keyring for a double sided finish.
Slide a coin into the small lip at the base and twist gently. The two halves pivot apart on the connector.
Lay the first insert face down into one half.
Lay the second insert back to back on top, facing outward.
Close the halves together and press until they click. They hold firmly until you open them again on purpose.

Number plate keyrings

Covers the Number Plate keyring at 53 x 9 mm.

Print your design at 53 x 9 mm. Sixty nine inserts fit on one A4 sheet.
Peel out the insert.
Place it into the recess in the lower half.
Line up the two clear parts and squeeze them together until they snap shut.

Crystal dome keyrings

Covers the Crystal Dome and Crystal Dome Sports. Supplied as a metal base, an adhesive pad and a self adhesive crystal window.

Trim your image to size. The standard dome takes a UK passport photo at 35 x 45 mm.
Peel the backing off the adhesive pad on the metal base.
Lay your image squarely onto the pad and smooth it down from the centre out.
Peel the backing off the crystal window.
Lower the window onto the image from one edge to the other, not straight down, so no air is trapped. Press the edges down.
